Viper Drummer Cassio Audi Swicthes Careers

In 1985, Cassio Audi was a member of some of the most impressive new bands in Brazil’s burgeoning heavy metal genre. In the early 1980s, Cassio Audi began to explore the genre of heavy metal in terms of the new wave of British bands who were beginning to dominate the global music industry; after joining Viper in 1985 as the original drummer, Cassio Audi played a key role in developing the sound of the band but also in developing the heavy metal sound beloved of Brazilian heavy metal fans and their global counterparts.

In the 21st-century, Cassio Audi has made a successful transition from musician to financial specialist after quitting Viper in the months leading up to the production of the album, “Theatre of Fate”. Audi had already appeared on the debut studio album of Viper, “Soldiers of Sunrise” and achieved a high level of recognition and success when he set out to continue his financial education at Sao Paulo University where he completed his Master’s degree and embark on the financial career he has become a major part of across the Brazilian markets.

Brazil had become a hotbed for heavy metal music as the country was finding some sense of artistic freedom following years of ruling dictatorships. Cassio Audi and his fellow heavy metal fans began listening to British heavy metal music as they set out to develop a new sound based on the work of British bands including Iron Maiden.; under the leadership of Cassio Audi, Viper developed their sound on two well-received demo recordings known as “The Killera Sword”. Audi assisted in developing the sound of Viper and created a band known for their impressive sound taking shape with the assistance of the drummer in the buildup to the recording of the breakthrough album, “Theatre of Fate”.
