Andrew Rolfe And The Entire Leadership Of The Ubuntu Fund Organizes For A Gala Dinner

Recently, the management of the Ubuntu Fund posited that they were organizing for a funds drive in London. The event, which was invitation-only, was attended by 300 guests. Andrew Rolfe was mandated with the duty of ensuring that all the attendees are entertained and that adequate food is availed. The Xhosa choir provided the guests with different songs. During the night, the guests listened to different inspiring stories by various individuals. Andrew Rolfe and the management of the Ubuntu Fund were optimistic that they would raise huge resources. The event lasted the whole night.

In attendance were Sinesipho Rabidyani and Jacob Lief. Jacob is the co-founder of the fund. In his speech, Jacob posited that children need everything for them to grow. Dressed in a stylish dress, Sinesipho stole the show. She talked of how as a young girl she hated going home after school. Her father had a drinking problem. This way, he used to mistreat the entire family, including Sinesipho’s mother. She decided to put more efforts in her studies. Her story and excellent performance in school made her qualify for a scholarship from the Ubuntu Fund. Presently, she is studying a degree in law.

During the event, the Ubuntu Fund managed to raise over $972,960. These funds shall be used in augmenting the Ubuntu Fund’s school campus in South Africa. In addition, some resources shall be channeled towards developing a modern pediatric clinic that will provide the needy children with quality healthcare services. Once the construction is complete, the Fund will enroll more disadvantaged children in the society. When they were starting operations, the entity focused only on offering education. However, after learning that HIV and hunger were causing many children fail to attend school, they started offering them with nutrition and healthcare services.

Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in ensuring that disadvantaged children access basic needs by ensuring that the fund has adequate resources. Rolfe is a former executive of the Gap. At the company, he was mandated with the duty of overseeing the company’s operations abroad. In addition, Andrew worked for Pret A. Manger. He was also the chief executive officer of Booker Foodservice.
